Our Enterprising Kids Today
Our Enterprising Kids Today: From Childhood Ventures to Adult Paths
Our enterprising kids today are often shaped by the experiences, beliefs, challenges, and opportunities they were given when they were young. Enterprise for Kids began many years ago when our children were small. Today, they are no longer little. This page follows where those early lessons, ventures, adventures, and mindset shifts have led, and what our children are now building, creating, exploring, and becoming as young adults.
From Childhood Ventures to Enterprising Kids Today
What began as family conversations, childhood ventures, market stalls, money lessons, board games, and real-world learning has unfolded into many different adult paths. This page connects the early years with the lives our children are living today.
The stories here show how childhood business lessons can last far beyond the business itself. They become part of how young people think, create, solve problems, and step into opportunity.
Different Paths, Shared Foundations

Not all of our children have followed the same road, but many of the same qualities have carried through: confidence, initiative, courage, creativity, independence, curiosity, and the willingness to think differently.
Some have followed business paths. Some have followed creative paths. Some are travelling, writing, investing, working online, building communities, or exploring new ideas. Each journey is different, but the foundations laid in childhood still matter.
What Our Enterprising Kids Are Building Today
Some of our children have built businesses. Some are writing, creating, travelling, investing, marketing, working online, or forging their own unique way in the world. This section shares their journeys, their growth, and the ways their early experiences helped shape who they are becoming.
This is where we explore what enterprising kids today can look like when early confidence, initiative, money awareness, creativity, and adventure continue into adult life.
What Stayed With Them
One of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been seeing how childhood experiences can leave a lasting imprint. A belief was planted in each of them, and over time we have watched that belief grow.
The lessons were not only about money or business. They were about mindset, freedom, leadership, adventure, vision, and learning to trust themselves.
Our older children often appreciate and comment on the opportunities they had as children and the belief those experiences instilled in them. Now, in many ways, they are shining the light for us and for their younger siblings. They have become examples in their own right, and it is wonderful to see how they encourage one another and celebrate each other’s successes and failures.
Follow Their Journeys

This section will continue to grow as we share more of what our children are doing today and reflect on how those earlier years helped lay the foundation. Where appropriate, we may also share ways for readers to connect with our children, their communities, and the projects they are building.
These updates will help show the bridge from childhood ventures to enterprising kids today — not as a single path, but as many different expressions of confidence, creativity, enterprise, independence, and possibility.
